The Foundation for Blood Research is located at 8 Science Park Road (formerly 69 US Route 1) in Scarborough, Maine; approximately 1/4 mile south of the Scarborough/South Portland line.
From the Maine Turnpike (Interstate 95)...
take Exit 45 (formerly 7), and proceed straight through (1/2 mile) to Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 (south). The Foundation for Blood Research is 1 mile on the right. Watch for the Foundation for Blood Research sign, set low in a field on the right and turn in at the Science Park Road street sign on your right. Follow the signs to FBR.
From Interstate 295 heading South...
take Exit 2 (" Rt. 1, Scarborough, Old Orchard"), then take the "Rt. 1, Main Street South Portland" exit. Proceed to Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 (south). The Foundation for Blood Research is 1 mile on the right. Watch for the Foundation for Blood Research sign, set low in a field on the right and turn in at the Science Park Road street sign on your right. Follow the signs to FBR.
Directions from the South...
take Maine Turnpike to Scarborough Exit 42 (formerly 6), pass straight through light for 1.4 miles to intersection of U.S. Rt. 1; turn left, head straight for 2.8 miles. Just before you reach the Foundation for Blood Research, there is an intersection with Interstate 295. Stay on U.S. Rt. 1 north. Immediately after the intesection, move into the lefthand turn lane and turn in at the Science Park Road street sign and follow the signs to FBR.
