HealthWeb provides an organized directory access to evaluated, non-commercial, health-related, internet resources. The HealthWeb project was introduced in 1994 and remains a collaborative effort of the Greater Midwest Region Health Science Libraries of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine.
Healthopedia.com is a consumer medical and health information site with a medical encyclopedia, topics on health, and information on medications.
MedicineNet.com is an online healthcare media publishing company providing easy-to-read and authoritative medical information designed for the consumer. This nationally recognized, highly rated web site is written and reviewed by over 70 US Board Certified Physicians.
MEDLINEplus, produced by the National Library of Medicine, this site provides access to full-text drug information, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive health tutorials, and the latest health news. MEDLINEplus features Health Topic pages for over 500 diseases and conditions and provides searches from Medline [a bibliographic database that indexes medical literature] and ClinicalTrials.gov [a database of research studies from NIH].
WebMDHealth is geared toward consumer health issues and is committed to providing a credible resource for original, timely health information. As well as being a repository for premium resources, this is a diverse site that offers coverage in health news from respected sources such as Associated Press and Reuters Health to the latest medical findings reported in peer reviewed journals.

American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) provides education, resources, and a voice for the medical genetics profession. To make genetic services available to and improve the health of the public, the ACMG promotes the development and implementation of methods to diagnose, treat, and prevent genetic disease.
American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) is a major professional genetics research organization. This site includes their policy statements and links to other professional genetics organizations.
Information for Genetic Professionals is a site at the University of Kansas with links to hundreds of sites featuring information for genetics professionals.
International Society of Nurses in Genetics (ISONG) is a professional society for nurses who work in genetics. It has annual meetings, issues position statements, and publishes a newsletter.

College of American Pathologists (CAP) is a medical society serving more than 15,000 physician members and the laboratory community throughout the world.
