As a small, independent nonprofit research and education institute, we are supported in part by grants and contracts, in part by fees for laboratory services, and in part by gifts made by private foundations, businesses and corporations, and individuals.
If you wish to make a gift in memory of a friend, you can designate the research or education program you would like it to benefit.
An annual year-end gift may be used to help us underwrite the cost of a new piece of laboratory equipment, a new journal subscription for the library, or the cost of a teacher or physician sabbatical with FBR scientists and educators.
A gift made in support of FBR's ScienceWorks for ME high school science education program will benefit science teachers and students throughout Maine.
